As expected, the MO GOP majority rushed through passage of the rigged Congressional districts map ordered by Trump, and a bill to end majority rule and cripple our ability to pass citizen initiative petitions. Now both bills are sitting on Governor Kehoe’s desk for his signature.
Thousands showed up to raise our voices and shine a light on this shameless power grab for the president’s political advantage! We filled the Capitol building to let them know we will not stay silent while they take away our power! Politicians should not be slicing and dicing communities to pick their voters! Voters should be choosing their politicians!

Small groups of people can go into the Federal Courthouse and try to talk to staffers - no signs allowed in the courthouse but bring your best signs for visibility outside!

IMMIGRATION KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAINING / VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Advocates for Immigrants Rights and Reconciliation (AIRR) provides “Know Your Rights” training for community members who are directly impacted by immigration policies. No matter where you were born or what your immigration status is, you have rights under the constitution. During this training, we will review people's constitutional rights. AIRR’s goal is to educate, train and empower as many community members as possible to feel confident with their knowledge of their due process rights in order to exercise them to keep themselves and their families safe. This training also offers a plan of action when a person is detained. Additionally, AIRR offers Know Your Rights to allies and service providers on how to better protect the community they serve.
