Welcome to Missouri Mondays. 


BUNDLE UP! YOUR VOTE IS ON THE LINE! Temps may be dropping but we can’t let that stop us! The opposition is desperate and spending millions to sabotage our efforts on the People Not Politicians MO campaign and steal your vote with their gerrymandered maps. They have lied to voters, threatened and intimidated volunteers and “last week the Missouri Attorney General’s office said voters can’t challenge the gerrymandered map with a referendum because we are “uninformed plebiscites.” These are the same politicians who put one precinct into two congressional districts! Thousands of Missourians have spent the last 70 days collecting hundreds of thousands of signatures. Let’s show them who’s really uninformed!” (Richard Von Glahn, PNPMO). So friends let’s put on another layer, go out and get a few more signatures, and then get them turned in this week! There are plenty of opportunities listed below and at mobilize.us/pnpmo.

WHO WE ARE - Respect Missouri Voters is a grassroots, volunteer-led campaign working to protect the citizen initiative process and make our government work for everyday Missourians. Our goal is straightforward but vital - pass a state constitutional amendment to protect majority rule in Missouri. We need 2,500 volunteers in order to gather signatures.  Join our campaign to pass a ballot initiative for a state constitutional amendment that will BAN politicians from: 


  • Overturning initiatives that voters have already passed

  • Attacking citizens' ability to use the initiative process

IMMIGRATION KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAINING / VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES


Advocates for Immigrants Rights and Reconciliation (AIRR) provides “Know Your Rights” training for community members who are directly impacted by immigration policies. No matter where you were born or what your immigration status is, you have rights under the constitution. During this training, we will review people's constitutional rights. AIRR’s goal is to educate, train and empower as many community members as possible to feel confident with their knowledge of their due process rights in order to exercise them to keep themselves and their families safe. This training also offers a plan of action when a person is detained. Additionally, AIRR offers Know Your Rights to allies and service providers on how to better protect the community they serve.
