Emergency meetings organized across Missouri to counter proposed congressional redistricting by President Trump’s administration, aiming to defend the state constitution and prevent an authoritarian power grab.

Welcome to Missouri Mondays.

If not us, then who?  If not now, then when?” - Congressman John Lewis

A handful of Missouri politicians are conspiring with President Trump to redraw our congressional lines in an attempt to strip Kansas City's elected voice in Washington, D.C. removing Congressman Emanuel Cleaver from office. Let’s call this what it is—an authoritarian power grab. They want to silence our voices, break up our communities, and end American democracy as we know it. Gov. Kehoe, MO House Speaker Patterson and MO Senate Pres. Pro Tem O'Laughlin stand ready to flout the state constitution to do Trump’s bidding.

This is a 911! We must fight back!

Join allies and coalition partners including Missouri Jobs with Justice, Missouri Workers Center, Stand Up KC, Missouri Voter Protection Coalition, Indivisible Kansas City, United We Stand KC this week at mass meetings across the state to find out what you can do to help protect our state from this authoritarian power grab!
