NOW - URGENT STATEWIDE ACTION
TELL MO GOV. KEHOE TO VETO HOUSE BILL 567 OVERTURNING EARNED PAID SICK LEAVE AND MINIMUM WAGE INCREASES!
Email Gov. Kehoe here: https://secure.everyaction.com/5ATGn8k_5k-pTURUvEKt6g2
Join Missouri Workers Center and Missouri Jobs with Justice in demanding Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe veto House Bill 567 and defend the will of the people!
Workers delivered over 210,000 signatures from all 115 counties to put guaranteed earned paid sick days and a minimum wage increase on the November ballot. On Election Day, Proposition A won with 58 percent of the vote — across race, place, and party affiliation.
On May 1, over 700,000 Missouri workers became eligible to accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Unfortunately, the State Legislature prioritized the interests of corporations over our communities, and lawmakers went to extreme lengths to overturn Proposition A, even ending the session early.
We deserve representatives who put working people first. We expect the leaders we have elected to represent our interests by making decisions that allow every Missourian to thrive. That's why we must call on Gov. Kehoe to veto HB 567!

Join Rep. Crystal Quade and Sen. Bob Johnson for a night in KC benefiting Respect Missouri Voters. Respect Missouri Voters, is a grassroots, volunteer-led campaign working to protect the citizen initiative process and make our government work for everyday Missourians. Their goal is straightforward but vital- pass a state constitutional amendment to protect majority rule in Missouri.
To qualify for the ballot, Respect Missouri Voters must collect 300,000 signatures statewide. They need to raise $300,000 by July 1st, to supply volunteers with the materials they need to collect those signatures.
The stakes couldn't be higher. Missouri politicians have repeatedly attacked the will of the people, undermining the democratic process that allows citizens to directly shape policy through ballot initiatives. We hope you’ll join us and help support this important effort!

On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the streets and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises upeverywhere else.
No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.
We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind. The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it. On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say nothrones, no crowns, no kings.
