6/25/18 - Missouri Mondays - We must keep up the pressure to reunite immigrant children and familie

On this Missouri Monday, our hearts are still heavy over the more than 2,000 immigrant children still separated from their parents. The public outcry of people throughout Missouri and all across the country demanding an end to this cruel order resulted in an unprecedented reversal in policy. However, the struggle for these families is not over. The already separated children still remain in holding facilities hundreds or even thousands of miles from their detained parents at the border, including approximately 50 children who were taken to The Villages in Topeka, KS, and there is no clear path to reuniting them. We must keep up the pressure to reunite children with their families as quickly as possible by calling Senator Blunt (202) 224-5721, Senator McCaskill (202) 224-6154, and your Representative, and tell them to take action now to reunite these families!

Here are some other ways you can help:

Now through Wednesday June 27 - If you are in the Kansas City area, you can drop off donations at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, KS. See details on Facebook HERE or at http://jewishvoicesunited.org

Make an online donation to organizations helping immigrant children and families on the ground. You can find a list of organizations HERE.

Thank you for answering the Missouri Monday Call to Action for immigrant children and their families!
