12/16/19 - Missouri Mondays - Congress must defend the Constitution! “Nobody is above the law!"
The full House will take a historic vote this Wednesday, December 18 on two articles of impeachment against Donald J. Trump, one alleging abuse of power and another alleging obstruction of Congress and if approved, Trump will be just the third sitting President to be impeached in our nation’s history. Impeachment is the remedy our founding fathers included in the Constitution to avoid a ruler with unchecked power. This is the moment that Congress must uphold their oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. It is time for accountability for no one is above the law, including the President of the United States.
On Tues Dec 17 on the eve of the House impeachment vote, progressive organizations across the country will be holding “Nobody is Above the Law” events.
