11/30/20 - Missouri Mondays - Democracy at stake! We must keep fighting!
It’s been a long difficult year and we are tired and know you must be too. We are outraged that Sen. Roy Blunt is playing the President’s dangerous game sowing doubt about the election results and undermining democracy. Blunt refuses to acknowledge Joe Biden as the president-elect and on CNN he “blamed the media for setting up a “straw man.” He finally admitted that Trump’s lawyers haven’t presented any proof of voter fraud “in a way that was acceptable to any court.” But then he offered his own opinion: “I think there was some element of voter fraud.”
So this is where we are. With Roy Blunt and GOP Senate majority led by Mitch McConnell, it will be party over all else, even over truth and our democracy. We must keep fighting. We must do all we can to help win back control of the U.S. Senate!
Here’s what you can do safely from Missouri to help make a difference this week!
Show Me State support to help flip Georgia blue!
“Georgia is positioned to do a marvelous thing, send a young Jewish man, the son of immigrants, who sat at the feet of Congressman John Lewis, and a kid who grew up in the public-housing projects of Savannah, Georgia, the pastor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, to the United States Senate at the same time.” -Rev. Warnock
