09/09/19 - Missouri Mondays - Use special session to restore health coverage, reduce gun violence!

Missouri leads the nation in the number of children dropped from Medicaid rolls since 2018 and that number is almost 100,000. Low income seniors and the disabled have also been inexplicably dropped from Medicaid rolls and the total number of Missourians affected is more than 130,000. The rise of gun violence and violent crime puts Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield in the top most dangerous cities in the nation. Yet Governor Parson REJECTED addressing these critical issues and instead called the special session to help rural used car dealers get another tax credit when selling more than one car at a time. Parson’s special session this week is expected to cost taxpayers around $16,000!

Tell Governor Parson restoring health coverage for Missouri children, seniors and disabled, and addressing gun violence should be the special session priority, NOT special interest tax credits!
