09/02/19 - Missouri Mondays - Enjoy your Labor Day weekend? Thanks Unions!

On this Labor Day we hope as you enjoy time off with family and friends that you will also take a minute to remember and honor the sacrifices of American workers banding together in the labor movement.  Most of us take for granted our 5 day work week, 8 hour work day, and safe working conditions but does anyone really believe that employers and government provided such workplace benefits out of pure generosity?  As Frederick Douglass once said, “Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.” Time - August 30, 2019

Today the struggle continues for the courageous Stand Up KC low-wage workers in Missouri and those throughout the U.S. fighting for living wages and benefits and for their right to form a union in their workplace.
