07/01/19 -Missouri Mondays- Fight the Bans! Join NOW to protect reproductive healthcare in Missouri!

Altough the last remaining healthcare center offering safe, legal abortions in Missouri can remain open until a hearing set for August 1st, we must organize NOW to overturn the destructive legislation that bans abortion after the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. ACLU of Missouri is fighting for a referendum to appear on the ballot this fall to halt HB126 and restore reproductive choice to Missouri women.

As Dr. Colleen McNicholas, OBGYN, Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region has said of HB126, “It is unjust and cruel, and as the court and now the Administrative Commission Hearing recognize, unlawful. Planned Parenthood will continue responding to these political attacks on reproductive rights and health care with unrelenting vigor. Because abortion is health care and every person deserves the right and freedom to decide when and whether to be pregnant — no matter what.”
