02/10/20 - Democracy 911! Your voice and vote needed!

After voting against witnesses in Trump’s impeachment trial, both Missouri Senators Blunt and Hawley voted with the GOP majority last week to acquit the President. Feeling emboldened Trump immediately began verbally lashing out against Democrats, Sen. Romney, and on Friday he retaliated against witnesses Gordon Sondland and Lt. Col. Vindman by firing them and fired Vindman’s twin brother who had nothing to do with the impeachment proceedings.
Meanwhile in Jefferson City despite two extraordinary filibuster efforts by Senate Democrats, the GOP majority is advancing their repeal version of Clean Missouri, SJR 38 sponsored by Republican Sen. Dan Hegeman, because they say you and 62% of Missouri voters didn’t understand it.
Have you had enough of politicians ignoring the will of the people and their oath of office? We must continue to hold these elected officials accountable and MAKE SURE WE VOTE!
