02/01/21 - Missouri Mondays - What Gov Parson didn’t say about the State of the State / Actions to

Governor Parson insisted on an in person State of the State address on Jan 27 despite a covid outbreak shutting down the House the week before and additional lawmakers testing positive and others isolating after exposure in the Capitol to someone infected. Parson and the GOP majority continue to play a dangerous game of ignoring even their own covid safety recommendations by refusing a mask mandate in the Capitol putting everyone at risk of the deadly virus.

What the Governor didn’t say about State of the State

  • MO House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee had a meeting scheduled last week with Dr. Randall Williams, Director of MO Dept. of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and also with the MO COVID team but without explanation the meeting was cancelled.

We deserve answers! Take action!

Tell MO House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee Chair, Rep. Mike Stephens to make sure DHSS Director Williams appears before this committee to answer questions about Missouri’s failure to roll out the COVID vaccine and what steps will be taken for improvement to protect and save Missouri lives!
